This report details Class 11X’s recent visit to a local Hindu temple followed by a meal at an Indian restaurant on Friday, January 2nd, 2025.
When we arrived at the Sri Ganesha Hindu Temple, we were greeted by Mr. Krishnamurthy who showed us the first still unfinished part of the temple where we could see the beautiful architecture glowing in the winter sun.
After that, Mr. Krishnamurthy took us to the place of the temple where all the praying takes place. We all sat down on the carpet and he told us everything there is to know about the Hindu religion. At the end, he answered all our curious questions and we said our goodbyes to go to the restaurant.
At the Avatar Indian Restaurant nearby, our teacher Mr. McPhee was able to get us a wonderful lunch deal so we could all try different curry dishes with rice. After that, we were all happy and satisified.
