As we, class 7a, came into the parliament, we needed to wait because the security needed to check our stuff for any dangerous items.
After that ended, a woman greeted us and took us to the presentation room, where we watched a short film about the history of the parliament and how it works. Then we came to a room with a huge painting of the dramatic scenes of the 9th November 1989, when the Berlin Wall fell.
After that, we visited the „Hall of Walking“ where the deputies walk during breaks between their meetings, and then we went to the hall of meetings where politicians sit and discuss new laws in Berlin. We had a lot of fun in the parliament itself and walking to it too!
