Bilingual Class 8a Visits the Supreme Court of Berlin

On Thursday, September 20th we, bilingual class 8a and our teacher Mr. McPhee, visited the Supreme Court of Berlin (Kammergericht). There we met a nice woman working at the court who told us all about the court and its past. The court was built 550 years ago and contains 540 rooms. In fact, our tour guide told us that in the 19th century there were spas and pigsties on the property!  Back then it was really big, but now it is rather small with 515 people working there. We sat in a real courtroom and she explained to us how the court works and who sits where.
We learnd a lot and we think everybody had fun.
